The NorthWood Middle School and High School Red Regiment will host its annual Mattress Fundraiser on Saturday, August 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the NorthWood High School Band Room. The event is open to the public and will transform NorthWood High School into a mattress showroom for the day, giving community members an opportunity to shop while directly supporting NorthWood's band students. More than 30 mattress models from top brands will be on display, including Purple, Beautyrest, Helix and Therapedic. Mattresses are made to order and available in all sizes, with prices beginning at $199. In addition to mattresses, shoppers will have access to adjustable bases, luxury pillows, mattress protectors, premium sheets and other sleep products. Zero-percent financing will be available to qualified buyers, along with delivery and haul-away options. Purchase With a Purpose: Every purchase made through the fundraiser benefits the students of the NorthWood Red Regiment. Community members who are already considering replacing a mattress or upgrading their sleep setup can make that purchase locally while helping provide additional support and opportunities for NorthWood's band programs. The fundraiser also includes a special 10% discount on any purchase for staff, faculty, police, firefighters, EMS personnel and members of the military. Customers do not need to be affiliated with NorthWood to participate. The sale is open to the entire community.
