The NorthWood Varsity Volleyball team spent Saturday competing at Penn’s Tom Heck Tournament, facing a challenging field and putting together a day full of competitive sets. The Panthers finished 0-4 on the day, but the record doesn’t tell the full story. NorthWood battled throughout each match, with three of the four matches featuring a set decided by just two points. NorthWood opened the day against Elkhart, falling 19-25 and 27-29. The Panthers then took on Chesterton, dropping a pair of tight sets, 22-25 and 28-30. In the afternoon, NorthWood faced Bishop Noll, falling 23-25 in both sets before closing the tournament against Lake Central. The Panthers again battled to the final points, falling 19-25 and 24-26.
