About
NorthWood High School is a high school located in Nappanee, Indiana. It is a part of the Wa-Nee Community Schools. The NorthWood Panthers, in their Black and Red, compete in the Northern Lakes Conference along with Concord, Goshen, Mishawaka, Northridge, Plymouth, Warsaw and Wawasee.
NorthWood is home to the 2005 IHSAA State Champion football team, 1999 and 2020 IHSAA State Girls Basketball Champions, and the 2023 IHSAA State Boys Basketball Champions. NorthWood competitive cheer team has also won 3 IASP State Championships (2014, 2022, and 2023).
NorthWood High School Athletics’ focus is on promoting principles of purpose, sportsmanship, skill development, positive relationships, and student-athlete experiences that produce excellent young people for our teams, school, and
community.
